Stephanie began her role at Loughborough University in 2015 after completing her PhD in the School of Business and Economics on professional work, careers and shared service centres. Stephanie holds a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in International Management and an MRes (Master of Research) in Business and Management. Stephanie’s PhD was funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and Loughborough University.
As a Research Associate for the Centre for Global Sourcing and Services (CGSS) Stephanie is a regular contributor to international conferences and practitioner events surrounding shared services and has built up a strong network of professionals in the area. She has authored practitioner articles, been a guest blogger and is currently working on academic papers based on the findings of her PhD entitled ‘Navigating professional careers in new organisational forms’. Her interests continue to be based in professional work and career management, in particular the sustainability of professional careers and potential succession or attrition problems in SSCs both onshore in the UK and overseas.
